the head pointing to the corner of the church.

A
badly eroded grave stone leans against a fence
where
the path turns left at the church building
to
run up to its door.
The
stone is fairly squat and is rectangular
with
gentle slopes on its shoulders raising to a
point.
In 1972 the name Nathaniel Springford could
be
discerned but little more.

1991
Jan 1st a gap had appeared on the end
furthest
from the church door exposing the
red
brick walls below the tomb, this damage
does
not seem like natural decay and many graves
seem
similarly affected.
