The memorial refers to the wife of Henry Fowle
- Jane Springbelt daughter of Mr Thomas Springbelt of Wilsford
in fact Jane was the daughter of Samuel Springbatt and the sister
of Thomas (Twinning) Springbatt
The shield at the bottom is that of the Fowles
coupled with the arms of the Everett family. The Everett arms
were wrongly attributed to the Springbelts in a record of
Wiltshire arms.
