I John Springbatt of the Parish of All Cannings in the County of Wilts yeoman this 20th, Day of May 1730. in the Third year of the reign of our King George ye second do make and declare this my last Will and Testament revoking all other former Wills, in mannger and fform following ffirst I commit my soul into the Hands of Almighty God, and my Body to be buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter named; and for my real and personal estate, I give and dispose thereof in manner and fform following (viz;) Comp…… ffirst I will that my ffuneral Expenses shall be paide
Item I give and bequeath unto my Son in law Nicholas Poope one shilling; Item
I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Poope one pound; Item I give and bequeath unto Son in law John Russ one shilling Item I give and bequeath unto my my Grandson John Russ ffive shillings
Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter, Barbrough Springbatt all my Household Goods and Cattels, ………… whatsoever; And it is my further Will that the Interest of my saide Daughter; Portion be applied and disposed of at the Discretion; portion my Wife Sarah Springbatt for her Education and Maintenance untill her come to Age, And lastly I do nominate and appoint my Daughter Barbrough Springbatt tobe my sole Executor ofthis my last will and Testament In witness of I have hereunto sett my Hand and seal the Day and Year above written
