"Death is not the enemy; living in constant fear of it is."
Norman Cousins 1912-1990>
You are now installed as a visitor in my home
though your presence I didn't invite.
You've been sensed to enter by day
but, usually, you roam the night.
You go your way, I go mine
and I cringe when our paths do cross.
Your company is known, you've seen to that
yet, if you leave I'll feel the loss.
Why do you stay?
What is it you want?
Who's in the most torment
with the moods you flaunt?
You agonize me
by frightening me so.
Still, you exist in agony
not knowing where to go.
Walk into the light...
I advise you once more.
Put us both out of misery
and wander no more.
