Exuvia of an Emperor Dragonfly, well-hidden among the reeds, about 40 cm above water level.
A second example, found on the same morning, within a few metres of the first. This one clearly shows the exit hole just behind the head, and the white threads that were the now unneeded respiratory tubes. Found about 20 cm above water level.
