Carron is 5 miles from the pretty village of Aberlour where there is a butcher, baker, grocers and newsagent as well as a variety of other shops.
Elgin is 20 miles away and has several of the major supermarkets, shops, restaurants, cinema, and leisure facilities including an ice rink and bowling alley.

You can walk the Speyside Way long distance footpath which is only about 200 yards from the bungalow, trek up to the summit of nearby
Ben Rinnes or explore the spectacular Cairngorms.
