Saint-Hubert Airport is located approximately 15 minutes south of Montreal, Quebec. It was built in 1927 and was Montreal's main airport before the construction of Montreal Dorval International. Montreal's first transatlantic flights were flown into Saint-Hubert. Since flights were moved to Dorval, Saint-Hubert has been a small quiet airport. It's Canadian forces air base would receive the occasional interesting plane, such as Hercules', G222's, Transal's and several types of fighters. But recently the base has been slowly closing down, causing air traffic to drastically decrease. There would also be the occasional executive jet in through the week, but nothing on a regular bases. But beginning a few weeks ago, all that changed. Since the Aeroport de Montreal decided to move all charter flights to Montreal Mirabel International and all scheduled service to Dorval, all sport charters were forced into Mirabel, which is 45 minutes from any sports arena. Thus all sports charter have been given permission to fly into Saint-Hubert. This page is dedicated to keeping track of interesting aircraft movements into the airport.
