Avinguda de Pere Mas i Reus, in the centre of Alcudia is known by the locals as "Dollar Street" because of the numerous "foreign" restaurants and bars. Here you can find German beer gardens, English pubs, Chinese and Indian restaurants and if you look hard enough even a couple of Spanish bars.

Bogavante is an excellent seafood restaurant and can be found opposite the fisherman's pier.

C'an Punyetes is a tapas bar in the Port area and offers a typical Mallorquin menu.

Pizzeria Roma specialises in pizzas and steaks at reasonable prices.

Khun Phanit's is a long-established Thai restaurant in Alcudia at Avda. de la Playa, just behind the Hotel Alcudia Garden. They serve authentic Thai food at very reasonable prices.

Tradewinds does the best fish 'n' chips in AIcudia, served on an open terrace beside the canal.

Cheers is a family bar and restaurant in Avinguda Venecia, named after the Cheers TV sitcom. It serves plenty of British and international beers, as well as other drinks, and the wide variety of food includes burgers, lasagne and "Sunday lunch" every day. Prices are reasonable and there's a special menu for the kids. Entertainment is provided for children during the day, and for the whole family in the evening - with games, dancing and karaoke until 3am. There's also a Cheers 2 in Las Gaviotas, at the southern end of the resort at Calle Circuito del Lago. Both open from 10am to 3am.

The Steak House Carabela claims to be the best BBQ in Alcudia. You can find them at Avda, Reina Sofia, 16 or telephone 971 547 704

Nova Marina specialises in fish and Italian cuisine. Open All Year.

Shangrila claims to be the best quality Chinese restaurant in town. Take away service also available.

Es Canyar has a beautiful terrace. Open 8.00pm till 3.00am. Offers live music, and art exhibitions. Serves tapas and selection of vegetarian food

Don Vito is an Italian restaurant. Also offers a take away service and great Italian ice cream.

La Villa Chinese Restaurant, offers both Cantonese and Szechuan style food and a take away service.

Can Moncho sea food specialists and again has a take away service.

La Traviata is a restaurant offering Beef and Lamb of the highest quality from Castilla and the best Rioja and Ribera del Duero wines.

Meson Los Patos is recommended by the best gastronomy guidebooks. Traditional Majorcan cooking. 120 year old rustic air conditioned premises, with a swimming pool, gardens, parking and children's playground.

The Highlander Bar is the only Scots bar in Alcudia. The Highlander was also the first bar in Alcudia to provide Internet Access to customers. The Highlander Bar has recently been refurbished to give it a more modern and comfortable look.

Goodfellas is a very friendly music cafe. There's live music several times a week and current video releases are also shown.

Dreams Bar is always busy, but then it does have a prime position in the heart of the port area, with friendly staff and a good holiday atmosphere.
