One of the most popular ways to see Puerto Pollensa is a stroll along the Pine Walk, a pedestian promenade that runs for most of the length of the resort.

Buses and boat trips run from the resort to the rocky Cap de Formentor. From the lighthouse at the very tip it is claimed that on a clear day you can see the nearby island of Menorca.

Inland the old town of Pollensa is a 1000 light years away from the popular tourist image of Majorca. It's here that the Sunday morning market is held in the Placa Major main square selling fresh fruit and vegetables.

The most popular attraction is the 365 Calvari steps leading up to the tiny church on top of the hill overlooking Pollensa.
