| Luzern is a very nice town on a lake. |  |
| It lies at the foot of an impressive Mountain, Pilatus. |  |
| Here is Pilatus once more (in background). |  |
| And in Switzerland it is possible to get everywhere with comform, even on Pilatus. Besides a cable train, there is a little railway. Actually, it is the steepest railways in the world: the length is only 4.8km while the difference in the height is 1.7km! Unfortunately, it does not look very impressive on this picture but it is definitely fun travelling in it! (It was my excuse for being so lazy.) |  |
