Touring Turkey continued

There is so much to see in Turkey a two week holiday will just whet your appetite for more. Statically if this is your first visit to Turkey it won't be your last. A typical first visit needs to be exploratory and to cover as much ground a possible, you will then be in an informed position to make plans for your next visit.

A typical first visit itinerary could be something like this:

  • Three nights in Istanbul to get a flavor of this famous city taking in the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace the Aya Sofya and of course to sample the delights of rooftop restaurants, a perfect introduction to Turkish cuisine.
  • An early morning flight to Kayseri, the capitol of the Cappadocia region, three nights in one of the famous 'Cave Hotels' and day excursions to the ancient underground city sites.
  • Flight to the resort of Bodrum right in the center of Turkeys Riviera, overnight in a hotel before boarding a traditional wooden motor-sailing Gulet for a 4 night mini-cruise in the Gulf of Gokova.
  • Three more nights in Bodrum with day excursions to places like Ephesus and Pamukkale and perhaps a day on the beach before returning to Istanbul from Bodrum Airport.

Of course because all our arrangements are customized to meet your requirements, the combinations of location, mode of transport, quality and type of accommodation etc. are almost limitless. It's your itinerary, it's entirely up to you, we just check feasibility and provide information about timetables and prices, make your reservations and most importantly, be available should you require assistance at any time while you are in Turkey.   more...
