Australia 2000 - My Travel Journal
From 1st January 2000, I became unemployed, my time working for the London Borough of Hillingdon was at a welcome end!
So, on the 5th of February 2000, I got onto my British Airways flight to Hong Kong, for 8 days, before finally travelling on to Australia...
So why the online journal? Well, it seemed like a good idea to keep family and friends updated on what I was doing, through this web page. Rather than send a long email to everybody, they can see what I have been up to, and hopefully, I can add a few pics at some point on the trip.

Well, it's all over now, arrived back home on yesterday!
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone I met and hopefully became good friends with. Stay in touch..

Plans change, circumstances dictate that you should do what feels right for you, and because of this, the itinerary went right out the window!
