The latest PC Stuff update and upcoming Gaming Stuff MiniSite

Compared to all of the areas of the last update this one has been mostly targeted at the HTML and Java MiniSite and the Fun Stuff MiniSite.  This updates will make you piss yourself with glee (Note:  This will only happen if you have prostate problems!):

• Fun Stuff MiniSite - There has been a huge update here, where it has rocketed from a lousy three Java games to a total of 25!!!  Most of these games are the greatest ones that you could download from the Internet, all brought together under one room, well... file at least.  This is what took the most time and caused the big problems with Freeservers, which did not like me uploading the 650 odd files to bring this brilliant section to you.  Freeservers are good, but a bit slack when uploading many files as with many they upload the file names but not the data contained in the files, so it appears as though all of your files are up when only a few are actually running, hence the reason for many dead links on my last site.
• HTML/Java MiniSite - Well, this is finally finished, all of the files are up including the much pursued Meta tag information.  Although there is a lack of Java Scripts at present there is an extensive free HTML guide covering many areas of the Internet language.

Abandonware MiniSite - I'm very sorry for those of you who often came here to download some of the games that were up, but I was told to delete all of the files as I was infringing upon Copyright laws.

Never mind though, as in the new Gaming Stuff MiniSite under construction there will be the following:

• Comparison of the new next generation games consoles, featuring Dreamcast, X-Box, Playstation 2 and Dolphin, in which the most powerful console will be discussed as well as the most popular.  There will even be a voting poll held for the top console.
• Freeware downloads, including some of the Fun Stuff MiniSite files, games and programs.
• The Top 10 PC, Playstation and N64 games ever made reviewed and ripped open with downloadable demos and patches.
• Probably more stuff, depending on if I can be arsed.

Alas, there is not information on the Flash update here as I still haven't got around to it (and I don't even know how to create the stuff).  As soon as I get hold of Macromedia Flash 4 I'll start construction (I'm still buying a £400 piece of software to improve this site for you!).

What's up, running and still to come on PC Stuff

Here's a short list of stuff that's on my web site.  The rest of the crap on this page is just here because I got board one rainy Saturday afternoon.  Anyway...

• All in all there are currently 100 pages (or there about) up and running on this web site.  An extraordinary feat for any personal web site (shame about the content though!).  A total of around 750 files are now up and running on PC Stuff.
• Main Page - here!  This is here.  The wonder of here!  Not much point of a link but I'm giving info on the whole site.
• Email - not really a page as such, but it is a way you can send me a threatening letter.  Almost impossible to resist, isn't it.
• Fun Stuff MiniSite - at last, a proper page!  This mini site (hence MiniSite) contains Java games and programs which all play online.
• HTML/Java MiniSite - a boring site for boring people, like me.  Contains coding and applets for if you want to create a web page as crap as this one (just kidding!  You could do better with your eyes closed).  More stuff coming soon.  What fun!
• Forum MiniSite - a place for all your questions and answers that no one else can provide (not that anyone answers the questions).
• Chat Room MiniSite - it's a virtual room, where you chat, in a mini site.  It doesn't need much explaining really.  Well, as you were stupid enough to come here then you might have needed that explanation.
• Links - at links already?  There's not much up here, is there?

Well, that's it at the moment, but here's what's coming (no promises, it really depends if I can be bothered to do anything)...

• More forums - lets face it, one forum isn't really that much, is it?  Soon there will be a forum for absolutely everything (except Pokemon!  I hate Pokemon!  And if anyone sends me a request for anything Pokemon I'll send them the Pikachu virus which will fry their system.  Ha ha ha ha ha!).
• More chat rooms - more rooms for virtually everything to do with the PC - most probably other stuff too.
• Computer game review - Also known as Gaming Stuff which will be coming soon featuring game reviews, game console information and comparisons and freeware downloads.

If you've ever visited my site before, which is very unlikely because I only have 250 visitors in 2 months (100 of which were probably me) you will notice that this site has radically changed from its RAM guzzling predecessor, which had multiple Java applets running at every moment and so many frames that you couldn't see text in this main frame if viewing on a resolution lower than 1024 x 768, which wasn't really my fault as Freeservers placed the overhead banner upon my site which didn't help much.  Alright, I admit it, it was entirely my fault, are you happy now?

Since the last site I have made quite a few changes when I should have been revising for my GCSEs.  The improvements are almost endless (well, if you're viewing this page in 640 x 480 it may take, oh, 10 seconds to get through the list)...

• More Java games added - experience the fun and excitement of these crappy 100KB online games.  Seriously though, some are quite good.  Go to the Fun Stuff MiniSite to play them.
• The forum is now up - after all of the promises of when this would arrive it finally has, although there's only one forum for every PC question you can think of.  Feel cheated?  Well, you should.  Never trust me and my promises.
• Chat room is now up - I never promised you this, but I thought that you may like a place to chat utter crap about.  I think that it's the highlight of my site.  See what you think!  (What does that mean anyway - SEE what you THINK.  It makes no sense!)
• The HTML/Java MiniSite is finally up - Not in the least complete, but there is a nice little list of applets and coding that will keep you little hackers amused.  It's FREE by the way.
• The Links page has been upgraded - no more broken links, no more empty spaces.  There is a great list of links to the best sites on the web!  Well, the ones that I stumbled across anyway, I don't do much on the internet, except for look for game reviews, cheats, check email, search for porn, you know, the usually male teenage activities.

Welcome, if you will (or if you won't just click on one of the links as I'm just talking crap and trying to put some info on this page so a search engine may find my site) the new improved site in which, in comparison to the last site,...

• games run at full speed and no longer slow down when something complicated happens (due to a boring GIF logo instead of a Java applet running with it),
• your browser will not crash due to RAM guzzling (again, due to the title),
• you have the ability to view this main frame instead of the other five frames blocking the way, since now there's a dramatically reduced number of four (well, they are smaller than on the last site),
• and there's a choice to mute the annoying midi music that plays (in case you've heard it but you don't know where, which is unlikely as only die hard fans of this series, like me, know of its existence, is the theme tune from "Space Quest 3:  The Pirates of Pestulon", which I've probably misspelled).

Well, all of you who like my site, yes, I'm talking to you Ian and Michael (no one else does, not even me, that's why you constantly hear me telling you that this site is crap because, lets face it, it is) there will be a new Flash site up and running in a month, or two, or three, or twelve, or whenever I can be arsed to do it.  If you want to upgrade to Flash 4.0 click here.  It will feature...

• About 10 or so Flash games - this games load faster and have better graphics than Java games, which will also be featured.
• Decent movie-like intros- these look good and load quickly,
• A great layout for the site - this will enable good navigation and improve what this dank sewer looks like.

Of course, I made many promises about including stuff like really good abandonware games, a huge selection of Java games, many forums and chat rooms on the last site and look what happened... nothing.  So, if you want to see a Flash site hold your breath and wait until I can be bothered to try.

Well, well, well.  This is the section all of you visitors have been waiting for so that you can send death threats and kill whoever assisted in this god-awful web site who you want to stop before any more harm is unleashed upon the world (for legal reasons I have to say DON'T DO THIS for some stupid reason someone told me about).  Well, prepare to witness the underlings of the internet...

• Freeservers - Okay, so that I don't get my site "accidentally deleted" (as I was warned about in the conditions) I have to act all nice and write what they prepared for me.  Ahem...  "Freeservers provides a quality free service to it's users in which members are given a large 20MB web site and access to numerous resources including graphics, programs and all of software that can to be used to enhance web sites, all in exchange for a small advert to be placed at the top of each page within their web site."  Well, this is true, and they do provide a kinda good service, except for the site of their annoying advert which ruins every single page upon my site and often advertises whatever my visitors don't want to know about.  Stupid banner!  It takes up so much space data within the frames can't be read.  Bloody Freeservers...  And the stupid thing where only some of the files are uploaded successfully really pisses you off!  Ahem, sorry about that.  Was I convincing?
• Fortune City - Brilliant service!  You get a total of 100MB of web space when you become a member.  Without these people I would have no one to rely upon when Freeservers wouldn't upload all of my files.  Despite removing the abandonware, and the ridiculously long web page address my collection of Java games can now be played by all!  If you want a web site than I recommend these people.  Sure the address is long, but if you go to V3 then you can get a short web address shortcut like http://surf.to/pcstuff, which is a lot better than the normal one you'll get, mine is http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/skyscraper/core/359/index.htm.  Fortune City also give a brilliant collection of tools and stuff which, I must say, improve vastly upon Freeservers.  This is the greatest web space provider ever!
• Paul McNally - Okay, so it wasn't so much help as cussing me down about his site being so superior to mine and telling me how I couldn't make a web site that anyone would visit (well you are, aren't you, so he was wrong) that I decided to build one that would supercede his.  Ha!  I could never build an even remotely good web site, what was I thinking?  But seriously, his site is a good little thing and he has helped me bring this nightmare to you.  Say Paul, whatever happened to "The Palace of Glittering Delights" which you stole from god knows whom?

Well, you're probably ecstatic to hear, well, read anyway, that I have nothing else to write.  Yes, I can imagine your tears of joy and cries of delight.  So, I'll leave you with the following words: 

You're a twat!  You go onto the internet and you read this?  What kind of a moron are you?  Why don't you do something constructive instead of wasting you time reading crap like this on a crap site like this?  Please, do something remotely interesting.  I was stupid enough to write this rubbish, you're a bloody moron if you read it!  Please, doing GCSEs is more fun than reading the crap I write.  Hell, reading Paul McNally's jokes are more fun than what I write.  Please, either go to another page on this site or leave.  Just leave this cruddy page.  FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GO!!!  Thank you.

Oh, the Ricky Springer bit, ahem...

If we all just take time to look at ourselves and appreciate what we have become and are capable of we will learn to avoid god awful sites like this one and watch the fake fights on my show instead which are brought to you without pay-per-view showing completely fake life stories of demented American's in weird sexual situations, where all of the decent conversions are censored as well as all nudity.  Thank you, and see you next week on "The Ricky Springer Show".
