The main focus during mediaeval times seems to be war and of course
religion, and the semiology of such belief. Within this section
are pictures and images from these times, but avoiding where possible
too much overtly religious. The Chartres section contains images
from a mediaeval cathedral. The English mediaeval section contains
art from the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as some prints. |

course, like all of this site, areas remain under construction,
growing haphazardly with further acquisitions. |
