So lets see what we have, we open the box (which is nice and small making it ideal for family vacations) and we find a flimsy piece of paper folded in half to provide 4 pages of instructions. So, 3 minutes later we are ready to play! We set up the four wall sections to form the ramparts of the castle and the courtyard...this takes no more than a minute or two, and that's if you include the time it takes to deal out the cards!
Ah yes, the cards...These cards are beautifully illustrated and often wonderfully deceptive, I mean you just don't expect the dippy looking 'Prince Charming' to be so subtly destructive or the jolly looking 'Minstrel' to be so amazingly chaotic in the later stages of the game! The way these cards interact with each other, even after being played is magical!
This is a game equally at home on the family table or amidst the drunken mayhem of a lad's night in. Not many games can be played over and over on the same night and not lose its appeal.
SUMMARY:
All in all I struggle to find fault with it, it even has natural wood
coloured tokens and as you know...I love that! My only question is.....why
aren't you combing the net looking for this Gem of a game dear reader? :)
