Fortune

Fortune (or Fortune 500 in the US) obviously has its roots in Monopoly, but this is one of the few games of the roll & move genre that managed to be awarded a 6 in Games & Puzzles magazine - it's highest rating.

An interesting note here is that several famous companies obviously allowed their names to be used in this game, which adds a touch of realism to it.

In Fortune, players move around the board collecting resources by moving down one side of a double track and then sell these resources in sets by moving down the other side of the double track. The object of course is to make the most money.

Players can also purchase advertsing, consultancy and insurance to reduce the losses from certain hazards.

Probably would be a bit dated today, but having said that, I think it's superior to Monopoly and yet that still finds a market.
