This is basically a variation on monopoly. The buildings are in 3D and the object of the game is to own all 8 hotel chains. Initially you move around the board with the dice and buy plots of land. Then you build on the plot of land by buying sections of the hotel which are placed in slots on the land for that hotel. Gradually the board fills up with these 3D buildings which gives a nice overall effect as the hotel chains are built up. Entrances are built alongside the hotel land and if an opponent lands on an entrance they then have to pay rent for staying at the hotel. Rent is calculated by throwing the d6 to get 1 to 6 weeks of rent multiplied by the rent for that hotel.
Just as in Monopoly, gradually players lose or gain their money until finally one player owns everything having forced all the other players into bankruptcy.
The game has been around for many years and has undergone several revamps with each new edition, but has remained basically the same, which is a good fun family game in the tradition of the Monopoly style of game.
