Aston Martin

Aston Martin

Aston Martin - one of the best-looking (and least profitable) car makers of our times. Here in GT3 there's a choice of three - two modern beauties and a classic brute car:

V8 Vantage
Aston Martin V8 Vantage

A frankly astounding car. This is essentially a muscle car that makes the Viper look like Frank Skinner dancing in his pants. Bestowed with 550hp as standard (pity the V600 model isn't here, with 600hp on tap), but weighing as much as most people's houses, it's not the fastest thing around a track. But it's a whole hell-load of fun. Not one for the faint-hearted.

DB7 Vantage
Aston Martin DB7 Vantage

One of the prettiest cars in existence got a whole lot better when they swapped the 330hp 6 cylinder for a 420hp V12 seen in this DB7 Vantage. Again it's a very heavy car, but there's no more stylish way to cream the opponents. Excellent fun, especially in the Professional PD Cup.

Vanquish
Aston Martin V12 Vanquish

Nobody thought there could be a prettier car than the Aston Martin DB7, but the Vanquish is right up there. In almost any colour (obviously I'm ignoring the pink "Sutherland Red"...) this car is the most beautiful in the game. There's no sparing of the horses, but, despite it's space-age construction, this thing weighs a ton. Well, TWO tons. Still, it's a pure GT car, and I can't think of any better way to crush a continent.
