Grip

Contrary to popular belief, this value has absolutely nothing to do with how well the car sticks to the road - that can only be changed by changing tyres. Grip seems to be a suspension component relating to dampers. The higher the grip, the less travel there is during acceleration and braking - however the Formula One cars have the lowest grip front and rear.

People love to set this value high, but really it does nothing for the performance and just generates a shudder. If you MUST change them keep the grip preference in proportion to the existing grip preference for that car - if the grip levels are the same front and rear, when you change them, keep them the same front and rear. Grip is coded by lines 356 and 360. I certainly wouldn't bother with a 0 value here, as with infinite grip, the car won't budge an inch.
