An unusual by-product of games like GT3 is the ability to make hybrids - cars with parts borrowed from other cars. There are at least two distinct methods of doing this.
The first method - with which I am unfamiliar - is by the Action Replay-type cartridge (Action Replay, Equalizer, Game Shark etc. etc. etc.). I know nothing about this in connection to GT3, but I know a man who does. If this is your cup of tea, go to GTF, visit the Game Shark forums and browse away.
The second method is easier, quicker and doesn't require any mucking about with active memory which can lead to crashes. It requires two things. The first is an Xport/Sharkport, but by now you should be so sold on the idea you've already ordered it. The second is mk's GT3garage programme. This is available from the downloads section of the House of GT, and is updated regularly (current version, 03/03, is v38).

For examples of just how stupid - or inventive, you pick - you can be with hybrids, go look at the GT Genome Project. Windows Media Player 9 is ideal for this.
Thanks of course go to the great mk for writing this programme. He accepts donations of cash.
