NEWS!

A BLACK Dreamcast!?
Yup, a black Dreamcast. A Sega Sports pack black Dreamcast. It's a new look for the lucky Americans, they have their first "new look" DC's. What's so good about it?
It's basically a Sports Pack that has some of America's favourite Sports games from Sega Sports, NBA 2K and NFL 2K. It'll cost Americans $219.99 (about £147). Will it come over here with maybe Virtua Striker and NBA or Virtua Tennis? Hopefully, only time will tell.

Looks like a Saturn, doesn't it?

Samba De Amigo 2?
According to a news report on DC-UK's website, Sonic Team are planning to make a sequel to Dance-shake-boogie-groove maraca 'em up, Samba De Amigo. I Preview it and they go and reveal a sequel (Which is a good thing). Oh well, at least you'll have more than one game to use the maracas for. Let's dance some more!

750!?!? Games for PS2 by the end of 2002! And a quarter of them by EA!!!!!
According to Sony, there's gonna be 750 games for PS2 by the end of the year of 2002! And what's more, a quarter of them (around 187) is gonna be produced by their "personal assistants" Electronic Arts! So it'll be interesting to see how gullible the yearly FIFA buyers are to buy FIFA's bi-weekly installment in among all the other rubbish they produce!
It's also strange how they're still refusing to make games for the DC yet they are gonna make 187 for PS2 in less than 2 years!
They're also losing money. For more info go to DC-UK or UK RESISTANCE.

Could Sony be making deals with EA?

Tip of the month!
Saving games if you don't have money to buy more memory cards.
Those VM's fill up quickly, don't they? So what if you're about to start an epic adventure game and you need to free up some space on your memory card but don't want to delete that all important file, beautiful goal or game save? Well you go on the net through your Dreamcast click L trigger delete the "http://" and type: mailto: into the space and jump to it. You'll arrive at your game mail inbox. Press R trigger and go to "compose" and put anything in the subject box and put your own game mail address in the address box. Then press R trigger and select "attach file" and select the VM the save you have to delete is on and select the file. This will attach it to the mail and then you can click send. So now you can delete the file with the peace of mind that it's not gone forever. To recieve mail in the game mail inbox press R trigger and select "new mail" and all the mail sent to your game address is loaded and select the mail that you sent to yourself to get the file back.

And finally...

More (funny) Playstation 2 woes!

Once again Sony have messed up. Which, in turn, is very funny indeed. So what have Sony done with PS2 this time?
Well... they have only got 200,000 PS2's for UK release and the only way to get one is to Pre-order them from (get this)... independant video-game retailers! It's a first-come, first-served basis. So if you go into an independant video-game retailer on October 26th and asked for a PS2 you might get this responce (from me anyway, if I worked in one) "YOU WANT ONE? WELL YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE! HA!". And there will be NO PS2s in retail shops! This means if you went into a normal retail shop like, say, Woolworths to buy a PS2 there will be none there! So what else is there? An N64 or a Dreamcast. What will you choose? A 3 year old machine with hardly any decent games becoming avaliable or a lovely £150, 128-bit machine with free internet access, free copy of ChuChu Rocket and a decent back-catalogue of games and a good future of games to come? Hmm, tough choice. (sarcasm incase you hadn't of noticed) So don't be a fool and buy the PS2, it's not gonna be the ultimate games machine as Sony will tell you.
