Carazy! Crazy Taxi!
Hey, hey come on over and have some fun with Crazy Taxi!
The totally hyped up game that promised so much and boy, has it delivered! First off the graphics are amazing! And some of the best seen on the Dreamcast to date! The living cities are incredibly detailed and realistic with some real life places like Pizza Hut, KFC, Tower Records, The Original Levis store and The Fila shop! The arcade city is reminicent of real life cities combining features like the steep sloped hills and trams of San Fransisco and the beaches of Miami! The shop fronts are impressive detailed versions of their real life counterparts and they aren't just 2-D shop fronts either they have roofs that you can drive along if you land on one and even the roofs have customers wanting a ride!


HAHAHAHA! Look at the humans run!
If you hit the beach you can scare they hell out of beach babes as a big yellow cab coming towards them at 100mph and then it drives in the sea to pick up scuba-divers! (No, really!) The cities are huge and have loads of people ducking diving and running for cover as you tear through the streets at breakneck speeds and no you can't run anyone over.
While on the subject of scaring the crap out of the cities residents you could cackle like an evil super villian while you try to mow down people! But remember you can't!


Bad Religion and Offspring!
The game has a rocking soundtrack with songs like "10 in 2010" from Bad Religion and "All I want" from Offspring rocking in the Background! You would actually say that it's some of the BEST MUSIC EVER! The music is really fast and suits the game perfectly and makes you want to drive like a maniac! I love the music and the only way to here it is to buy this great game! "YA! YA! YA! YA! YA!"

Quite TAXIng!
While you're tearing through the highly detailed streets at lunatic speeds all at 50 or 60Hz and listning to great music you must think there is bound to be slowdown but, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SLOWDOWN AT ALL!!!!!!!GRRREAT!!! If you turn the sound of the game down while you play you can hear the Dreamcast whirring away keeping that disk spinning and keeping that music going and keeping it all smooth and detailed and the DC is almost breaking a sweat!


4 Crazy Cabbies!
The game has 4 Crazy cab drivers each with their own Classic Crazy Taxi to burn through those streets!

Axel: Axel drives a 60's style cab and thinks he can hit it off with the ladies easily but it often doesn't work out! If his passengers get on to him he isn't afraid to tell them to get off his back. He likes jamming with his band in his spare time.
Licence Plate: 1NOM155 meaning "I don't make mistakes."
BD Joe: A Cool driver that feels making people happy is payment enough and can be a bit of a musician with trash can lids to make people happy. He's also learning card tricks to make people happy all the time, anywhere! Drives a yellow cab with the traditional black and white check stipes.
Licence Plate: 2H0P260 means "lets get wild and crazy."
Gena: The female driver and quite a good looker. She doesn't like men trying to impress her though. Her car is quite fast too and more compact than the rest. Drives an Orange and white cab.
Licence Plate: 5EXY515 means "Sexually Attractive Woman."
Gus: The oldest of the group, the most experienced and the heaviest. He used to have a few run-ins with the law when he was younger and decided to take up Taxi driving as a living. Drives a restored 50's era cab.
Licence Plate: 0NLY777 means "Only aim for the big jackpot."

The new city!
Once you've had a taste of Crazy Driving in the arcade mode try the New city in Original modewhich contains such great extras as raised bridges to fly over the gap between them at top speed and sometimes landing on a roof! The new city also feature a rail system that has dark tunnels to drive through and stations to pick up and drop off passengers at (by the way it's bloody good fun going through the train tunnels!) there is also subways! That means you can go underground! And go through the subway tunnels! (which is also bloody good fun!) The city also has it's own freeway that goes over other roads shading them to quite glorious effect! You can still flip over cars and trash public facilities!

Crazy Moves!
There are various "Crazy moves" to learn and some get you tips! Here's a few.
Crazy Dash: Shift into drive and slam on the accelerator.
Crazy Drift: At high speed turn to the left or right sharply to get a lot of tips!
Crazy Through: The easiest move to perform. Narrowly miss a vehicle. You can rack up huge tips by getting huge combos if you're skillful enough.
Crazy Jump: Just drive as fast as you can off a ramp or anything that looks like a ramp.
Crazy Back Dash: Do a Crazy Dash then shift quickly into reverse and slam on the acelerator.

The Crazy Box!
If you register your name on the game you can play the excellent "Crazy Box" mode. The Crazy Box has lot's of excellent mini-games that help you hone on your "Crazy Skills", one is the Crazy Jump when you have to jump as far as you can of a giant ski-ramp. Hint:Use the Crazy Dash to get the speed to go far.
There is also Crazy Drift, Jumping Drift, Crazy Turn, Crazy Poles, Crazy Jam, Crazy Party, etc.
If you're good enough to complete all the Crazy Box games and the extra ones you'll get the bike!


The most fun to be had with clothes on!
As you can tell I LOVE Crazy Taxi and it is a very very very very very good game. If you are a Dreamcast owner buy this! If you aren't a Dreamcast owner buy a Dreamcast and then buy this! If you don't buy this there will be a very big hole in your game collection. If you are still unsure let me assure you that you will love this game! The game is the very best game on the Dreamcast and you must buy this game! YOU MUST! YOU MUST! YOU MUST! YOU MUST! Crazy Taxi is the BEST game on the DC! It's the most fun to be had with clothes on! This game will have you hooked from the time you put it in the machine until you switch off. Good fun! This game will have you coming back for more and more!
