Welcome to the November website!


Well hello and welcome to the November edition of Barry the SuperScot's Super Sega Website! It's yet another great month for Dreamcast because a) MSR is now finally released! (YYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!) and b) even more quality games like Jet Set Radio! Then next month on December 1st we finally get Shenmue!!!!!!!!!! Then 1 week later Samba De Amigo!!!!! Then after that "The BEST PC game EVER" , Half Life, comes to Dreamcast!!! And also there wil be a new Dreamkey! Will I be able to update the site with all this excitement? Who knows? Tune in next month to find out!
A review of MSR and F355 Challenge will be up very soon! Oh, yes!
P.S. The reason that the reviews aren't up yet is because Simply Games haven't got those games to me yet. I should have them by tommorow (Monday 6th).

BIG NEWS THIS MONTH!

It's another BIG month for Sega and the Dreamcast this month! Why? Well for the following reasons:
1. MSR finally released on November 3rd.
2. Jet Set Radio released on November 24th!
3. Sega GT released on November 24th!
This is gonna be one hell of a month (again!)!

The highly anticipated Dreamcast game Metropolis Street Racer is here! And it's quite probably the BEST racing game ever! Last month we found out that the game had been put back again to November 3rd (More than a year after it's original scheduled release date) but that doesn't matter any more cos it's out now! So NOW every Dreamcast owner can get there hands on the GOD OF RACING GAMES! Apparantly the delay of another 2 weeks was for Bizarre to make sure everything was perfect (again!?) and well... everything seems to be that way. Here's some facts about the game:
1. It looks great!
2. It sounds great!
3. It plays great!
4. It has over 250 tracks!
5. It has 50 cars!
6. It was originally intended to be a launch title but Bizarre weren't happy with it until it was perfect.
7. It's BIG!
8. It has online functions!
9. You can race around accurtately represented interpretations of 3 great cities, London, San Francisco and Tokyo!
10. There is up to 8 players in the multiplayer mode!

The coolest game EVER! Rollerblade around the streets of Tokyo-to and spraypaint your tags to mark your area! Using the new technique called "Manga-dimension" this game looks quite different and cool! Unfortunately if the press find out about this game they would be all "This encourages vandalism" and "this is totally irresponsible and premotes the de-facing of property!". In fact one city called Milwaukee has asked Sega not to release this game because they spend over $1,000,000 a year on removing graffiti. They think it will encourage vandalism. Didn't they read the disclaimer that Sega put in the game that appears when it loads up? Anyway let's hope that the press over here don't find out about it or at least don't mind it! Watch out for the review near the end of this month!

THE BEST LOOKING GAME EVER! It has been a long, long wait for this but soon us European DC owners can play the adventure game of a lifetime so pre-order yours now. Stock up your on 12 packs of Coke (or beer) and lots of snacks. Then when the game arrives close the curtains, take the phone off the hook and immerse yourself in the greatest adventure of all time and start your 2nd life as Ryo Hazuki. This is gonna be very something special!



New VM's, mice and microphones!
Good news! There is going to be a new memory card out in the next few weeks that holds 4 times as much as the current memory card but doesn't have the screen (More on the memory card at DC-UK). Soon internet surfing through DC will be easier because of the mouse. Half-Life will work very well with the mouse and keyboard. The microphone for Seaman will also be released soon.

Half-Life and Dreamkey 2 delayed!
The BEST PC game EVER, Half-Life and Dreamcast browser, Dreamkey ver.2 have both been delayed which is not very good considering we were almost going mad because of the delays that MSR had! Anyway the have been delayed till next year and we'll get Half-Life sometime before Easter and Dreamkey has been delayed because it's getting better Flash compatibility and voicemail facilities added.

More (funny) Playstation 2 woes!

Once again Sony have messed up. Which, in turn, is very funny indeed. So what have Sony done with PS2 this time?
Well... there is gonna be 50 games out on launch day which would be good for us DC owners cos since there will be so many games for PS2 on Day 1 they won't be able to sell well with so much competition from other games. Which, in turn, means DC games can sel well and dominate the charts. It's gonna be a good Christmas for Sega. It's only a matter of a few days till it's release and I'll be laughing when all those fools don't get their hands one. Then they will have to wait until March to be disappointed by their crap console. It's gonna be a very good Christmas for Sega!
