Information on the Realm: Taeghas

For many years now there has been the problem of a long-standing feud
between Prince Darien Avan and Aeric Boeruine, the ruler of Boeruine,
Taeghas' northern neighbour. This rivalry has often boiled over into
open warfare, usually fought in Taeghas!

The many ravages caused to the provinces have severely hurt the realm.
Under Lord Ambelth's leadership, however, there has been a turn around
of late, and he would dearly like to keep things going in the right
direction. A full-blooded elf, his realm is fairly unique in Anuire
in that elves and humans live, work and fight together. He tires of
the constant warring between his neighbors, and but for the fact that
Avan controls most of the law in the realm, many in Anuire feel that
Lord Ambeleth would cut the ties that have bound the land to Avanil
for so long.

The land of Taeghas is very varied and beautiful; from the mountains
in the east, to the wild coastline of the west. There are rolling
meads, forests (protected for several years now), plains, marshland,
peat moors and every eco-system in-between. Those who live there
count themselves fortunate indeed and envision what Anuire may aspire
to in the future. It is also said that if a being is welcome anywhere
in Anuire, it is in Taeghas.
