Information on the Realm: Talinie

Talinie is mostly forest. The forests of the Aelvinnwode covering the
kingdom except where it has been harvested. Talinie's small population
having a great dependence on the lumber and mining trade is slowly
despoiling the ancient forests. War is despoiling the forests faster
than the lumberjack's axe. In recent years Thane Tueris Drakensburg
has undertaken a new enterprise;invasion. In constant fear of

invasion from his goblin neighbors (Five Peaks, Thurazor) the
Thane continually enlisted Talinie's mage Torele Anviras in
fruitless and often disasterous attempts to carve up his
neighbors.

His latest attempt raising the ire of Thurazor and destroying Talinie
forces to the elf. Despondent over such heavy losses the Thane went
into seclusion. Rumors have it that the NIT could not comfort the
Thane in his losses and a coma over took him. Torele upset by the
constant warring has joined with the Elven Circle of Temples causing a
crisis in faith as well as security.
