and because of the unrest that would undoubebly ensue following his death
the jarl voted for a new king who is not a Jarl. Young Erik Gunnarson
from Skapa Hjaring, a nephew of Jarl Erik, was voted as king. A straping
youth and a fine example of a rjurik man. He will rule in the fashion of
Erik and has been investitured.
