Information on the Realm: Rjuvik
Rjuvik is a violent bandit kingdom ruled with ruthless efficiency by the chieftan Fulgar the Bold.
Once a landless reaver exiled from his clan despite the dtrength of his blood, Fulgar the Bold
roamed the land, preying on merchants and travelers. and wandered the oceans, leading a small fleet
of sea reavers in raids on mercantile shipping and coastal villages in Rjurik and Anuirian kingdoms.
Two decades ago, however, he wrestled control of the coastal jarldom of Yvarre from its former
ruler, the weak-willed regent Norvlad, and used it as a base for further expansion. The marshy
central regions of Rjuriklands were underpopulated and unwanted by neighbouring jarls; these
quickly fell under Fulgar's influence, and when the walled city of Viborg fell to fulgar's treachery
over ten years ago, his control of the region was complete.
Fulgar's palace crouches on the seacliffs of Yvarre. From there, he broods on his stone throne.
He remains a reaver at heart, and has turned his attention to expanding Rjuvik's trade relations with the
outside world.
So far, Fulgar's attempts have met with mixed success, for the outsiders are wary of him and his bloody
past. These endeavors are slowly paying off, however, beginning with unscrupulous marchants and corrupt
nobles. Fulgar has begun to make inroads in trade thoughout western Cerilla.
